Bottari Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

Manufactured in Milano 1949-1951

Designed by Carlo Bottari and built by the Omea factory using two-stroke engines of 100 and 125cc, the machine was first displayed under the brand Aeolus at the Milan Exhibition of 1950. Aeolus received no further mention in later years.

It has been reported that Carlo Bottari presented an Eolo in 1950 at the Milan Show. OTTW states, "For a short period of time these (Eolo) velomotors were manufactured by the firm OMEA." The nl.wikipedia site says much the same.
