A Brief History of the Italian Marque
The Officine Meccaniche di Vanzago company of Via Felice Cavallotti, Milano, built the Dik Dik 43cc micromotore per bicyclette which was mounted upside-down in the frame of a bicycle, above and behind the pedal crank, and drove the rear wheel by means of a friction roller.
It was produced from about 1950 to 1952.
The micromotor was marketed by COMITAR s.r.l. of Milan. Vangazo is midway between Milano and Legnano.

N.B.
1. Demm produced the similarly named Dick-Dick in the 1960s.
2. A Dik-Dik is a tiny antelope, not much larger than a housecat. They are very fast and can do over 40 km/h.
