Moto Rumi
Founded in 2003 in Modena by former Ferrari and Pirelli executive Dario Calzavara, the company built single-cylinder four-stroke supermoto machines in limited numbers.
The motorcycles have liquid-cooled 450cc SOHC engines with 98mm x 59.6mm bore/stroke, 13:1 CR, with induction via 48mm throttle bodies. The six-speed gearbox was designed by Piero Ferrari (son of Enzo).
They are fitted with carbon lenticular wheels and a carbon handlebar manufactured by Strawber. Discs are 320mm front, 220mm rear, tyres 120/70 and 180/55. Öhlins suspension front and rear.
Most of the other components are of aluminium, titanium and magnesium.
Price in 2004 was US$27,500. Production did not long continue.
