Colella Colcar Folding Minibike

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: 1981-1993

The Colella company in Rome marketed a folding mini ciclomotore named Colcar.

The attractive little machine is 1100mm long and weighs a mere 37 kg.

Powered by a Franco Morini twostroke of 49.9cc with a compression ratio of 8:1 and a centrifugal clutch running in an oil bath, it has a rigid rear end and well-sprung saddle. The fuel tank was integral with the frame and carried a little over two litres.
