A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: 1929-35

Designed by Cesare Doglio, the Turin-based company began building motorcycles in 1929 using 175cc OHV engines from Norman, and later from New Imperial. Subsequently, some models also used MAS, JAP and Rudge Python 250, 350 and 500cc engines. The company closed in 1935.

Python Four Valve Head

Rudge Python 250, 350 and 500cc engines were introduced in 1931. Borgo used 4V heads in 1920.
