Agrale

Founded in 1962, Agrale produced motorcycles from 1984. These included the Agrale SXT 16.5, the Elefant 16.5, 27.5 SXT, the Elefant 27.5, the Dakar 30.0, the Explorer, the SST, and Elephantre, their most popular model. Some 400,000 motorcycles had been built when production ceased in 1989.

The Agrale Elefantré 30.0 was built from 1989 to 1997. It has a 190.39 cc 3 two-stroke engine developing 26.5 hp at 7,500 rpm, disc front brake, and electric starter.

Amazonas

Manufactured by Amazonas Motos Especiais (AME) in Manaus from 1978 to 1988.

Three versions were produced - civilian, police and military. All were powered by Volkswagen air-cooled flat-four engines, mostly 1600cc and some of over 2 litres.. Around 700 were built, including sidecar combinations.

Production resumed in 2006 in collaboration with Loncin Corporation, and ceased again in 2009. During this period the firm also produced scooters of 110, 125 and 150cc.

It is written that five Amazonas sidecars were imported to Germany and marketed as Kathena around 1982.

Brumana Pugliese

The company was a motorcycle and scooter manufacturer which ceased trading in 1982.

In 1955 Paulo Pascowitch obtained a licence to manufacture Lambretta scooters in Brazil and established Lambretta do Brasil which constructed a factory in Lapa, São Paulo. They initially manufactured Lambretta LD models, and these were replaced by the Series II in 1960. Over 50,000 scooters a year were being built at this time.

In 1964 the firm changed its name to Pasco Lambretta. A new 175cc machine based on the TV Series III was also introduced.

In 1970 the firm once more changed its title, becoming Brumana Pugliese S.A. when it was bought by Philip Pugliese and Oliveiro Brumana. They introduced several new models including the Xispa (1971-1979), the MS (a modified Lambretta Series III), and the Ponei moped with a Minarelli engine (1976-1980).

Kasinski

Established in 1999 by Abraham Kasinsky who bought the Korean Hyosung factory along with the rights to manufacture their motorcycle range, Kasinski manufactured two- and three-wheeled vehicles including motorcycles, scooters and mopeds. The company was sold in 2009 to the CR Zongshen group, a Sino-Brazilian group controlled by Zongshen.
