Hercules Motorcycles

Built by Henry Butler of Whiston Street Works, Derby, 1902-1903.

Hercules motorcycles were fitted with engines from MMC, Minerva, and White & Poppe.

1905 Moved to the Alvaston Works, Derby

1920 Listed the Challenge gas and oil engine

Possibly connected with Butler Brothers of Upper Dale Works, Derby (1899), but not with Edward Butler (1880s).
