This Lambretta model was introduced in 1957, remaining in production until 1962; in this period of time they were built three different series of Lambretta 175 TV. The specimen dissected, owned by the National Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci", is a vehicle of the second series, produced between '59 and '61. Among the various models made Lambretta, the TV 175 was the highest-performance, and has an output of 8.6 hp at 6,000 revs / min. and reaching a wild speed of 104 km / h.
Questo modello di Lambretta venne presentato nel 1957, rimanendo in produzione fino al 1962; in questo arco di tempo vennero realizzati tre diverse serie di Lambretta 175 TV. L'esemplare sezionato, posseduto dal Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia "Leonardo da Vinci", rappresenta un veicolo della seconda serie, prodotta tra il '59 e il '61. Tra i vari modelli di Lambretta realizzati, il 175 TV fu quello dalle prestazioni pił elevate, sviluppando una potenza di 8,6 CV a 6000 giri/min. e raggiungendo uan velocità di 104 km/h.
