Built in Vienna by French engineer M. Balier and H. Schafer of Austria in 1914, the einspurauto had a 6 h.p. engine.
"Balier-Schafer, a French inventor, has turned out the two-wheeled car depicted above. The car is designed particularly for travel over rough ground.
When the car is in motion, the two wheels which keep it upright when it is still, are raised automatically from the ground. There are two seats, one behind the other. The horse power is from 6 to to 18."
