A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured: Moto-Comptoir, 167 Boulevard Pereire, Paris
The C.B. Sport was built from mainly British components, using a 150cc AZA engine by J.A.P. and a 2- or 3-speed GM gearbox.
The same firm built a motorcycle under the brand Atlas, writes zhumoriste, but there is no mention of a French marque of that name in Tragatsch or other works referenced.
Moto-Comptoir supplied JAP engines to Charles Stoppa of Lyon in the early 1930s, and was the French MG importer.
