Jacquelin Motorcycle

A former cyclist, in 1902 he built an unusual machine with a steering-wheel and link rod, powered by a De Dion-Bouton engine of 1225 c.c.

1903 saw him participate, still with De Dion, in the quarter-litre criterion.

1904/1905 he tries to launch a machine with a smaller engine.

Weighing 4½ cwts. and fitted with a 114 mm. by 120 mm. de Dion-Bouton engine, this amazing machine was designed by Jacquelin, a French cycling champion turned motorcyclist. The driving belt is not shown.
