First seen at the Paris Salon in October 1919, they were built by Paz & Silva using a 248cc two-stroke engine from SICAM, (Société Industrielle de Construction Automobile et Motocyclette) of Pantin.
The Motor Cycle writes of the 1919 model, "A very neat little two-stroke is shown under the above name. The engine is of the three-port type, but, contrary to usual practice it has the inlet and exhaust located at the rear of the cylinder. A chain-cum-belt drive is employed, a two-speed gear box being fitted to the bottom bracket. The frame has a sloping top tube, and Druid forks, with Terry links, are used."
In late 1922 the Motosolo Baby appeared, a smaller machine. Production continued until at least 1923.
Motosolo was represented for some time by Donker's Motorhandel in Arnhem, Netherlands.
