Sparting

Built by P. Onen, 21 quai de la Prevalaye, Rennes. In the early 1930s they they built velo-moteurs using Aubier & Dunne engines, and in the early 1950s produced mopeds fitted with Cucciolo motors supplied under licence by M. Rocher.

They constructed a small factory in 1924 which was enlarged in 1940. It was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1943, and rebuilt post-war.

The firm manufactured bicycles possibly as as early 1919 and continued into the late 1960s. The founder's son became an automotive parts distributor using a different name and the firm still exists in Rennes.
