The automobile firm Fahrzeugfabrik Dusseldorf AG was established by Hermann Kocks and produced motorcycles in 1924-1925.

Documentation on the marque is very sparse. A press report mentions a Fadag racer powered by a 500cc JAP. There are suggestions that they used DKW engines for their lightweights, that they built their own motorcycle engines, and possibly sourced some from Sarolea.

History of the company dates back to 1911 when Kocks was a dealer for Erhardt automobiles, and in 1923 he was on the board of VIS, a firm which built a variety of motorcycle engines, so it not unlikely that some the Fadag machines used these.

Fadag was better known for their automobiles and bicycles. The cars, of 16 to 32 h.p., were powered by Basse & Selve four cylinder engines designed by engineer George Bergmann of Berlin, and six cylinder units from Siemens & Halske.

The economic situation in Germany at the time was dire, and bankruptcy proceedings began in December 1925.
