Pimph Motorrad

Pimph-Motorrad Gesellschaft mbH of Düsseldorf

Under the management of Walter Zekeli, in the years 1924 to 1926 or '27 the firm built motorcycles with JAP 500cc sidevalve and OHV singles, and MAG V-twins. A 1925 brochure shows Sportmodell 498ccm OHV and Tourenmodell 498ccm SV. These machines had a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed gearbox, interchangeable wheels, Bosch magneto, chain drive, drum brakes front and rear, and a 12 litre saddle tank.

The Pimph appeared in racing results a number of times in those years, and a sidecar machine piloted by Zekeli won the Rhineland ADAC Club Championship of 1924.
