Manufactured by Motorfahrzeugbau Steidinger, St. Georgen, Schwarzwald, 1925 to 1927.
In 1925 Gebrüder Steidinger GmbH produced their "Welt-Motor" (World Motor), a two-stroke with alloy crankcase and cylinder head. Hugo Ruppe designed the flywheel and ignition system.
The following year, using the company name Motorfahrzeugbau Steidinger, they introduced two new models, the belt-drive 200cc Type O and the chain-drive 250cc Type S.
A later model had drum brakes front and rear.
Six prototypes were constructed but none progressed to production. The parent company built gramophones, and due in large part to the success of one of these on the world stage, the motorcycle venture ceased in 1927.
