A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured by Giuseppe Marini[1] in Alfonsine-Ravenna 1923-1928
Light motorcycle built in the mid to late 1920s fitted with a two-stroke engine of 125cc.
Presented at the Milan Fair of 1923, the machines were built almost entirely in-house and were designed for competition. They were ridden by Guiseppe's son Marino and veteran racer Giovanni Basigli who had previously ridden with Team Frera.
Notes. 1. Tragatsch gives the name Emilio Marini, not Guiseppe. The crankcase is embossed "G M Alfonsine" so Guiseppe is likely correct.
