Metálicas Monfort, 1957-1958
Established as a manufacturer of motorcycle frames, the firm took over Aleu and began building complete machines in 1957. The project did not blossom but the firm continued in the motorcycle industry and produced the Alfer brand.
Around 1960 they became the supplier of frames for Bultaco, and in the 1980s supplied frames to Ossa and Merlin. Manufacture of motorcycle components ceased in 1984, but the firm continued operations until 2021, advertising their services at metalmonfort com ✝.
