Developed from the Type I/26, the II/27 had the magneto positioned behind the cylinder, engine oil pump with sight glass, and engine power was increased to 18 hp.

Modell I/27

In the same chassis was also the similar but considerably cheaper JAP roadster 550cc 14 HP engine, under the model name I/27.

The following season these became models I/28 and II/28, and were unchanged.

A Super-Sport-Modell III-28 with an OHV 500cc JAP was added. It delivered 22 P.S. and could achieve 130 k/ph.
