Hopper was a motorcycle produced in 1904.
The machine was shown at the Farman Automobile depot in Long Acre, London. It had a 317cc, water-cooled engine mounted vertically in a loop frame. It weighed 108lb/49kg and the price was £45.
It seems likely that the machine is an early entrant into the motorcycle field by Fred Hopper. "Farman" refers to Farman Freres of Paris, widely advertised in the British press in 1903/04. The Farmans built few motor tricycles (possibly only one), but they built over 200 different types of aircraft and their automobiles were highly regarded.
