Mr. C. F. Temple broke all existing records for 5 and 10 miles at Brooklands, June 7th, 1924, in the fastest motor cycle race ever run. On the same day Mr. R. Bugden rode a Montgomery 150cc with sidecar and passenger throughout the M.C.C. London-Edinburgh Trial and arrived on time, climbing Kirkstone Pass successfully en route.
