Hartley Motorcycles

Manufactured by Hartley Brothers Co, Mitchell Street, Bendigo 1906-1911

James and William Hartley were established cycle dealers with several stores in Victoria, including one in Melbourne which was opened in 1897. They began importing Minerva-engined motorcycles in 1903, and used Fafnir engines 1911-1912.

The firm also marketed Empire Precision

HARTLEY BROS., Cycle and Motor Builders, Arcade: Bendigo and Eaglehawk.
