Manufactured by Jack Krown, corner of Elizabeth and Albert Street, Brisbane. He is also recorded as having a workshop in Stanley Street, South Brisbane.
Krown, a bicycle racer who migrated from Sweden in 1895, began riding pacers in 1900 at the Brisbane cycle track.
His motorcycles were fitted with Minerva engines.
A report from Sat 25th Oct 1904, Woolloongabba Cricket Ground: "John Krown, Dunlop 2¾hp" (and others including David Spencer, Spencer 3hp.
A report from July 1905 mentions a 2 horsepower Krown and Spencer. This is David Spencer, a fellow motorcycle racer who built Spencer motorcycles in Brisbane.
