Précision Side-Cars was founded in 1935, located at 39bis Rue Martre, Clichy (Seine) Paris. Thought to have been built under licence to Stoye.
In the 1990s there were two Stoye replicas, Le Tourisme and Aiglon. These were imported to Germany by Sauer.
The name is believed to have been revived around 2005, with the address given as 8 Rue Mercure, 91230 Montgeron, just outside Paris.
Daniel André passed the business to new owners in 2022. Recent models include the Normandie.
