Furetto Scooters

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: 1948-1949

Designed by Ing. Gianfranco Scarpa of Officine Giesse, Bresso, and produced in the workshops of Ottavio Quadrio, the Furetto was a 65cc (44 x 44 mm, 2 h.p. at 5000 rpm) two-stroke scooter with spoked wheels and 18 x 2.5" tyres, tubular frame and pressed metal bodywork.

Presented at the Milan Salon of 1947, it was seen by Renzo Rivolta who was impressed. He purchased the design and tooling and so was born the Iso Furetto.
