The JAP Moto-X Machine

Ireland's mini Moto Cross style circuits produced this Hybrid Grass Track Bike.

Obviously, with a wheel in two sports, the JAP powered machine featured a Grass style layout apart from the scrambles front forks and huge ground clearance.

It was built by Trevor Campbell from Randalstown, for Dessie Percy who finished runner-up in the 1976 Ulster Championship.

Trevor was the man who tried to establish conventional British Grass Tracks in Ireland and gained considerable changes for the 1977 Ulster series.
