This Batavus Super Sport G50 model with pedals was acquired with a range of accessories used by the original owner including a tool bag with tools, a long leather riding coat, leather riding mittens, a helmet and three Dutch registration plates relating to its use in the Netherlands between 1966 and 1970. The owner brought this Batavus with him to Australia when he emigrated in about 1971 and subsequently used it for about 10 years in the ACT before donating it to the Museum. It is believed to have been built in about 1960.
