The N34, an inverted inline four of 600cc of similar configuration to the Tiger Moth was developed for the military market. Of unit construction it had a reverse gear, but had serious cooling problems. One report states that the power was transmitted via the camshaft to the gearbox. The fuel tank was integral with the upper frame, and it had plunger style rear suspension.
