Introduction.
1950
Gerardo Sara and Florentino Borroni (who would later become partners), were fellow apprentices at the Guillermo Lehmann Factory School in the city of Rafaela, Santa Fe province.
A delegation from the Military Aircraft Factory in Córdoba traveled the country looking for workers, hiring them along with 12 others from that school. During their tenure in Cordoba Sara and Borroni bought a lottery ticket, winning first prize!
1958
With the lottery winnings, and after partnering with Alberto Abraham Ulfohn (22-23 years old) they founded on 10/12/1958 the company "SABORUL SrL", an acronym derived from the partner's names, with headquarters at 663 Avda. General Paz, Córdoba, dedicated to manufacturing light motorcycles equipped with Sachs single-cylinder engines of 98 and 125 cc, with simple tubular cradle frame, telescopic front suspension, swing arm with 2 hydraulic shock absorbers, drum brakes, capable of 70 and 90 km/h respectively. Assembled during the 1960s, they manufactured up to one hundred units per month.
1963
The partnership was dissolved, and Gerardo Sara returned to Rafaela to dedicate himself to poultry farming, and also worked as a mechanic preparing racing cars.
