Manufactured from mid-1940s to early 1960s by Harry Hodgson and Sons, 78 -84 Leader Road, Sheffield.
Models included the Abbydale, Cotswold, Lonsdale and Kendall, many named after streets in the area.
Earlier bodies were built with an ash frame and then covered in an aluminium skin, and later the larger bodies used marine plywood skinned in aluminium. Interiors on early models were Leatherette, some were sprayed in a Flock which resembled suede, and some were in a multi colour speckled paint.

Present for the first time at a London Show, the nine-model range is represented by a display of five bodies plus a specimen hardwood frame demonstrating the basic material and quality of workmanship contributing to this Yorkshire marque.
The accent throughout is on the excellence of detail. In the case of the luxury child-adult "Lonsdale" model, seen paired with an Ariel 4G, standard equipment includes a windscreen wiper, interior light and opening sidelights, the position of which can be controlled by the front-seated passenger. The child-adult "Regent," shown with a new Model 19 Norton, has these items, plus a similar opening window on the near side for the rear passenger. Throughout the range " Triplex " safety glass is standard. Fitted up to a 350 c.c. A.J.S. is the single- seater lightweight " Comfy," designed for use with machines of 350 c.c. capacity.
