Debenham Sisters
Betty and Nancy Debenham, with their dog, Poncho, were keen motorcyclists. Nancy won a Gold Medal at Brooklands in 1926.
The Debenham Sisters
On January 3, 1901, Magnier patented "une bicyclette automobile".
Origin is likely to be Gournay-en-Bray in Haute-Normandie.
This rather extraordinary and probably unique machine is part of the Collection de Maurice Chapleur. There has been some discussion as to the date, and as it has a sidevalve engine the year 1904 is suggested.
