A Brief History of the Italian Marque
In 1925 Eng. Oscar Amrein established the Asso company in Milan, which produced motorcycles.
Fitted with a DP two-stroke 21/2 HP engine it was initially fitted with belt drive, and seems to have been marketed until 1931.
Rather different information on this marque is given by motoclubstoricoconti.it, which says that the firm was in Turin, not Milan, that the first machine was a 175cc in 1927, and that they were associated with CABI-Cattaneo in 1950.
