1901 Living at The Barn, Kettering Road, Little Bowden, Market Harborough: Edward Kennard (age 58 born Theobald, Cheshurst), Iron Founder - Employer. With his wife Mary E. Kennard (age 57 born Kent). One Visitor and five servants.[1]

Is the pioneer of motor-cycling for women. Rides and recommends the Ivel motor-tricycle for ladies. Is a well-known sporting novelist, and author of "The Motor Maniac " — an exciting book dealing with motoring.
