Jean Thomann Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Founded in 1920 at 21 rue des vertus, Paris
In 1926 moved to 4, 6, 8 rue Colbert, Montreuil-sous-bois (Seine)

There are images in the gallery of 1921 and 1922 models with twostroke engines, and 350cc and 500cc fourstrokes.

The brand is not associated with Thomann motorcycles, and the two firms may be distinguished by their logos. Jean Thomann features a gorilla, whereas Thomann of Nanterre uses an elephant.

Notes
1. Model information needs checking.
