Brough Superior SS100 ETV 951

This photograph of BS SS100 ETV 951 was taken in 1950. Bill Bond, the rider, 92 years old in 2016 and living in New Zealand, said that he built the machine from spare parts at the factory after WWII while working for George Brough making Roll Royce Merlin camshafts as used in Spitfires.

Brough himself ordered the Matchless engine for him. He says that he also finished a previously incomplete 3-wheeler BS. If this is the case, both machines are likely to be the last of their type ever built.
