This 1914 illustration differs slightly to the 2¼ hp model discussed in the "British Lightweights" article of mid-1914. It has different forks, different carburettor, and quite possibly a Bosch magneto.
For 1915 Hobart changed to a 70x70 Villiers for their two-stroke. This catalogue lists the earlier 70x64 225cc engine, so it's almost certainly 1914. Howard Burrows: "...mentions 1914 for the enclosed Bosch magnetos so I would say that is the date - 1914".
