1924 Raleigh Model 13 798cc Combination
The Raleigh Model 13 first appeared in 1924 as a replacement for the 698cc flat-twin which proved expensive to produce. It sported a SV 798cc 60-degree V-twin with a Sturmey-Archer three-speed gearbox, with a wheelbase only 2" longer than the Model 12 making it a comfortable solo machine if required. It remained in production until 1927. The same engine was used in Raleigh's Model 15 sidecar combination.
