New-Map Scooters

In 1943 the company built an electric scooter named the Paupe which looked rather like the early Lambretta

At the 1955 Salon, New-Map presented a scooter named the Mascoot. According to some sources it originally had a Sachs 98cc engine, but was certainly fitted with an AMC 125cc motor when shown the following year as the Escapade. The scooters were not produced after 1957.

Notes:
1. Some BMA models of the 1930s had Aubier-Dunne engines. Engines fitted to other models included Zurcher, JAP, Chaise, Blackburne, MAG, Ydral, AMC, Mistral and Sachs
2. 1938-39 New-Map Baby 4 wheel car, 1cv 2T. In 1950 this was available as the Rolux Baby VB60, sold by Ets J. L . Cazenave of Pau, among no doubt many others.
3. 1950 & 1952 New-Map imported Douglas motorcycles.
4. Solyto 250cc Three-wheeler

Detailed information on a number of models may be found at JLB Creations
