Levis produced their first motorcycle during 1911 and for many years concentrated their efforts on the production of high quality, lightweight two strokes displacing 211 and 246cc equipped with three port single cylinder engines of their own design. Towards the end of the twenties they introduced a six port model and four stroke singles in the 250 and 350 classes, extending the range during the thirties to include 500cc machines. The company won the 1922 Lightweight TT with one of their two strokes and the four stroke machines gained an enviable reputation in trials of both the long distance and section type during the thirties.

The machine offered dates from 1927 and appears to be in good overall condition. It was purchased in 1968 by the now deceased owner who maintained it in roadworthy condition, using it regularly in VMCC events including the Banbury Run.

Finished in black and grey , it is fitted with a full acetylene lighting set and is offered with a Swansea V5C, a buff log book, a valid MOT certificate and a valid road fund licence.
