Brooklands Hillclimb 1915, Indian
Brooklands was known for its winding circuit where various speed records were tried to successively break but it also had a climb testing sector where mainly motorcycle factories tested their new ones models on gear and braking.
The track consisted of a 107-metre-long straight that had an initial slope of 1 in 8, then 1 in 5 to finish on a 1 in 4 gradient. Here we see an Indian in 1915 trying to reach the top.
