Introduced in 1915, the 998cc V-twin Model 7/9hp had an IOE engine and a Jardine four-speed gearbox. Later models had the Rudge Multi variable pulley system.
This machine has had a four-speed, hand-change gearbox fitted at some stage, and has enjoyed life with riders in the UK, the Netherlands and Austria before moving to the land of wary sheep and hobbits to join first the Nelson Classic Collection and then, in 2016, Moto Mecca in Invercargill.
