The first photograph ever to be published of the 250 c.c. supercharged twin-cylinder Rudge which it was hoped to use in the 1931 races. Due to insufficient time for development work its performance proved disappointing on the bench and it was never tested on the road. Considerable trouble was experienced with seizure of the secondary big-end which consisted of a plain pin and
bush mounted on the master connecting rod.
