Manufactured 1980-1982 in Rubi, Vallès Occidental (near Barcelona).
These were MX motorcycles powered by Villa 125 and 250 cc engines. [1]
Prior to this the company was named Intermoto SA and imported Moto Villa. Jesús Romero, one of the three company owners, purchased the other shares and moved to Sant Adrià de Besòs, subsequently renaming the marque to A.R.M.
Anvian 125 RM 1983
After the conclusion of the first phase of the Anvian factory, the models of this Spanish brand have evolved completely. Based on a Tau engine and with a frame reminiscent of Suzuki motocross models, this Anvian model can be considered one of the Spanish replicas of foreign brands. Except for the engine, all components are manufactured in Spain, most notably the swingarm, made of folded aluminum sheet metal with a U-shaped profile. The rear suspension system is the "Full Floater" type, with a monoshock that Anvian, like many other brands, has entrusted to the Italian firm Corte & Cosso, while the front suspension is a Betor with 300 mm travel. Cooling is liquid, using a copper radiator.
250 RM 1983
This quarter-litre model uses the same chassis as the 125 model, with everything being practically the same, with the exception of the engine, fuel tank, and the addition of an extra radiator. The engine is also a Tau, which is horizontal; this significantly facilitates assembly and disassembly, to the point that it can be opened between heats of a race. According to the manufacturers, it reaches 40 hp at 8,000 rpm with a displacement of 245 cc and a compression ratio of 13.5:1. Intake is via a 38 mm Dell'Orto carburetor, and the oil mixture ratio for lubricating the engine components is 5 percent.
