In addition to those above, the Starmaker was fitted to sports machines including the DMW Hornet (DMW also coupled two Starmakers to make a 500cc twin) and some Competition Classics machines. They were also used by Sprite, Chris Butler, Scorpion and in Peter Inchley's scrambler of 1966, the forerunner of the AJS Stormer.
