In 2020 the Pitstop concern (still owned by the Collins family) moved to Collingwood St, Osborne Park.

Percy Armstrong
Percy Armstrong was a cyclist and a car and motorcycle enthusiast who established a chain of bicycle shops across the Goldfields, and became a pioneer of the motor trade of WA. He imported Werner motorcycles to Perth, Western Australia. Probably the first he brought in was a Dussart et Accou, in 1899.
In 1893 Percy shaved more than 24 hours from the Sydney-Melbourne bicycle record, and he went on to take numerous records with motorcycles and automobiles - he crossed the Nullabor 18 times, the last crossing when he was 75 years old, in 1940. He had lost a leg in one of his motorcycle accidents, but continued to race despite this.

B.M.W.'s To Be Imported
Mr L. F. Pratt, of L.F. Pratt Motor Cycles Pty. Ltd., Moorabool street, Geelong, has secured the sole agency for the famous B.M.W. motor cycle and has made arrangements for a shipment of the R 5 500 c.c. model.
As the B.M.W. is an all shaft drive machine there are no chains and sprockets to wear which is an important factor in cheap maintenance. The performance of the B.M.W. was demonstrated when it made record time to .win the Australian Sidecar T.T. This machine was a standard job in every respect including the kick starter and battery. The fuel consumption for the race was two gallons of Stanavo aviation fuel and the oil consumption was negligible. Summing the machine up in a few words, Mr Pratt says that the B.M.W. is a docile touring job with a racing machine performance.
