Founded in 1896 by Alfred George Healing in Melbourne, the firm was best known for their bicycles. They imported and sold several brands of British motorcycles, and built their own under brand names which included Healing, Peerless, Petrel and Regnis. They continued trading until 1975.
The Newcastle branch was at 639-643 Hunter St.
