Benelli 900 Tornado Tre

The first of the new generation Benelli was the 900 Tornado Tre, introduced in 2003. The 898cc triple used a newly designed motor together with a unique under-seat radiator to differentiate itself from other sports bikes.

The Tre RS came a year later and differed by having a red/black paint scheme, a more highly tuned motor, adjustable slipper clutch with upgraded components, upgraded suspension, Marchesini wheels, Brembo "Series Oro" radial calipers and added carbon fibre parts. 143hp (105kW) at 11,500rpm, 100Nm at 8.500rpm, 195Kg

Benelli 1130 Tornado TnT

Released in 2004 the 1130 TnT (Tornado naked Tre) was Benelli's first unfaired foray into market. It was followed by the Sport model with radial calipers and suspension refinements. Weighing in at 199 kg, the Sport delivered 130 h.p. at 9,250 rpm giving a maximum speed of 252 km/h.

Benelli 1130 Cafe Racer

The Tre received further attention with the release of the Cafe Racer around 2007. It featured a two stage electronic power control which could be manually selected via a button on the dash, reducing the output of 135 h.p. at 9,250 rpm to 112 h.p. Weight remained much the same at 199 kg.
