OEC Temple-JAP, Montlhery 1930

OEC-1930-Temple-JAP-J-Wright.jpg
In 1930 Joe Wright took the world speed record over 150mph (240 km/h), but the name of the company was blackened when it transpired that the machine used was not, in fact, an OEC but a Zenith. The machine is pictured at the Montlhery track, prior to the speed run at Arpajon. Image from the Hockenheim Museum Archive.
