The Motor Sport Museum at Hockenheimring has over 300 exhibits including the largest collection of racing motorcycles in Europe. There are some quite remarkable motorcycles in the collection - a fully faired 1957 Gilera Four is a unique example, and a stunning Mercury 600 of 1936 with a Scott water-cooled two-stroke engine will capture the attantion of any serious motorcycle aficionado.

There are exhibits represnting all of the major manufacturers which have competed in Grand Prix over the years - MV Agusta, NSU, Norton, BMW, Honda, Kreidler, Ducati Yamaha - along with a host of less well-known but historically significant marques.

Also of interest to many will be the racing cars, of which there are not a few.

It is reported that some fifty of the museum's exhibits were on loan to the Top Mountain Museum. at the time of the disastrous fire in January 2021.
