Dimensions: wheelbase 1410 mm - dry weight 178 kg - fuel tank 14 litres.

Performance : 47 hp at 8500 rpm - maximum speed 160 km/h in normal position - fuel consumption 5 litres/100 km.

Colour scheme: Metallic orange paint for the tank and side covers. Chrome for the mudguards and black for the headlight, frame, swingarm, and chain guard. In the second version, the main colour was grey with orange and black plastic trim in the form of wide pinstriping. It had a seat that attached to a small tail section, and the Motoplat ignition was electronic.

Note: To address the lubrication problems that plagued the Twin, the Desmo included an oil cooler that provided the engine with a flow of fresh oil. Desmodromic valve actuation was also adopted to resolve issues with the valve springs, tappets, and timing chain: spring bounce, loss of tension in the timing chain causing rattling, etc.
